CJ said he’s all ears for anyone who has ideas on how to fix this.
Which was exactly the point of the change, making progression tied to the regular modes and making custom a place where you can easily set up no electronics/no evidence/etc presets for fun. The devs have plans for the game and everyone being level 8000 and having max money means they'd have to institute some sort of hard progression wipe when they do release their reworked system if they just left customs as is.
This would've made it clear to everyone that custom was just a fun / challenging game mode, not a way to level up and earn money.
They already said money/xp wipe is coming soon, so you have no point.
That's not what they said though, re-read it. They said custom couldn't be left how it is because everyone has xp and money, without the dev also doing a wipe.
Well the dev is doing a wipe soon it was announced months ago, so they didn't actually have to change customs at all (yet).
