The Phantoms ghost events will drain the normal 10%, but being within 10m of it and establishing line-of-sight (in either an event or a hunt) will drain 0,5% sanity per second.
The Yurei Door slam will drain 15% for every player within 7.5 m of the door.
The Poltergeist can throw multiple items at the same time and when it does, it will drain 2% per item thrown for every player in its vicinity
The Jinn has an ability to drain 25% of a players sanity. It will leave an emf2-signal on the fuse box without actually switching it off. It can't use this ability, if the fuse box in switched off
And a Moroi will double the passive sanity drain and prevent lights from stopping that drain, once you hear it through the spirit box or the paramic. That can only be stopped by eating sanity pills

This last part is terrifying if you're not aware of the curse.
To some degree, yeah^^ But ultimately it will eventually result in something, that looks like a early hunt, so beginners might be inclined to use pills at that point and experienced players get a reminder to consider either an early hunter or ghosts with sanity draining abilities, on top of what they might be able to deduct from the sanity screen or the ghosts speed.
So ultimately it's a very well balanced unique ability
You'll know you were hit by it if you hear the 'rahhh' hiss from the airball impacting you.
Though I have had the rare occurrence of the mist appearing directly on top of me.
Maybe you know this one but technically it's not a ghost event according to the objectives.
The part with the Moroi sounds so terrifying, thanks for your input :D
You know the airball which tells you it isnt a Oni?
Ghosts don't have unique events, they have unique abilities. Ability and event are two separate things. Interactions are a third one. Abilities often reduce sanity (such as in case of Yurei and Jinn), but not always (as with Phantom, Banshee, Wraith), and sometimes indirectly or over time instead of draining exact amount of sanity (Poltergeist mass throw, Moroi curse). Some interactions can also cause sanity loss (Poltergeist throwing things).
