Ghost changing between hunts

Tonight in nightmare mode, we had an obake that kept changing form after hunts. It was crawling, then standing, then hunched over. I was alive so I don't know if it changed outfits, but it never stayed consistent according to those I was with. We thought maybe it was twins since it was different and we couldn't get any evidence, but turned out to be an obake. Anyone experience this? Is this exclusive to an obake?

this isn't specific to any ghost type but rather a trait of that specific ghost model. The white pjama girl ghost model can appear either standing up, crawling or hunched over like you described, it's just a few different animations for that ghost model. I don't know off the top of my head which other ghosts have varying animations like that except for the child model which can appear either standing up or crawling. The ghost model is randomly chosen each round and is completely unrelated to the ghost type. An obake with this specific ghost model is just random chance.

Despite it's description the only related thing the obake actually does in the game is they have a rare chance to leave a different fingerprint evidence that has 6 fingers instead of the normal 5

Ok, I thought the only thing the obake had was the fingerprints, but this was the second time we saw this happen and both were the obake. So I started questioning myself. Thank you for the help!!
