For EMF5 you have to work a little bit, which is fine for me.
I have an EMF reader always placed near the books or items in the assumed ghost room/the area the ghost is most active. Don't hesitate to drop some more items around it to give the ghost a bigger chance to interact near it.
Whenever I hear doors moving, item drops, window knockings out of the EMF reader range, I quickly grab the EMF reader and move it to the ghost activity area to see if it is only an EMF2/3 or an EMF5 reading. Afterwards I drop the EMF reader into my designated "item pile" again.
This way I get the EMF5 evidence pretty well. if you don't get an EMF5 after about 10 signals, you can go for no evidence on that usually.
When you have a ouija board, you have unlimited interaction whenever you need one with every question. Use sanity questions at a safe spot. They cost the less sanity per question. Ask at least 5 times, usually you should get one EMF5 reading with it.
If you play not Nightmare mode, you also have the activity board. Though it does not give you a solid EMF5 evidence, seeing exact +5 peaks will give you a hint to a possible EMF5 ghost. The more often you see those exact +5 spikes, the bigger the chance it is really an EMF5 ghost.
It's easy to get EMF5.
Just pile up everything in the ghost room on top of the EMF reader and every interaction except doors and windows will give an emf reading that'll always be picked up and not missed. It's a bit of a cheese strat but it works wonders.
so every thrown object every door movement every fingerprint has a chance.
obvs if its bad ghost or bad place you can get screwed, BUT if you already have 2 evidence and EMF is the last, you can just go for the ghost initial behaviour to determine if it even can be an EMF ghost or X out the evidence that surely won´t be right
It's pure RNG.
If you have a Ouiji Board, you can also ask it low sanity drain questions like "How old are you", or "How many people did you kill" for multiple EMF 5 attempts.
EMF goes off as soon as the interaction occurs if you're near the activity. Odds are you will be much closer to the interaction than the Truck.
yeah but with 3 or 4 people youve usually got at least one person going back and forth for equipment and checking cameras
My point is EMF 5 is inconsistent at best. if I die to a ghost that has emf 5 as evidence and the reader doesn't say EMF 5 as I am choked to death then its broken. Same goes for ghost writing there needs to be a better way to get Writing as evidence.
EMF5 simply requires patience and luck. Bait the ghost into interactions (candles, doors, books, ...) and you will soon have an EMF5 if it is an EMF5 ghost.
You're expecting results without doing what is necessary. This is a you-problem.
and EMF4 reading will never trigger EMF5
only EMF2/3 readings have a chance to trigger EMF5 (25% chance)
hunt or ghost event NULLIFIES your chances of getting EMF5 reading it CANNOT be triggered and it s NOT broken it was programmed to be that way
