Try restarting the game and if it is still broken you might need to reinstall it.

Maybe your controls got messed up somehow, check the options menu.
If you talk about items on the floor, that got changed in august. You can no longer turn off or on equipment when you aren't holding it.
Photo and Video cameras automatically turn on when you're outside the truck and can't be manually turned on or off.
