someone told me these orbs switching rooms when ghost do so it must be a Mimic they said.
sad thing is these Orbis just changing rooms when ghost do its normal and i have tested it on any ghost with orbs.
what i think and that would be the right way to find out if it is a mimic i guess these Orbs never leave the room on Mimic's
so all of them who think these Orbs who changing rooms are mimic orbs when ghost change too then you are all lost i guess because all of these orb ghosts who change room the orb will do it too !
I guess just keep it in the back of your mind when you find ghost orbs to check for extra evidence for mimic
When it comes down to "Is it a Hantu or a Mimic?", check the Spirit Box. If you don't get a response, the Ghost Orbs are real evidence and it's a Hantu. If you get a response, the Ghost orbs are fake evidence and it's a Mimic.
I seem to recall someone saying in a stream or video, offhand like, that the orbs follow the mimic. Which doesn't help much if the mimic is mostly staying near it's ghost room, so it's not exactly "hard science" (not like "Wraith's lack of footprints" or Obake's unique handprint).
Additionally, that's possibly a misunderstanding. Might have been a dev commenting about "thinking of making it" so the ghost orbs move with the Mimic.. who knows.
Mandemon's tactic is the best approach: if you see Ghost Orbs and Mimic is an option, keep checking evidence.
