Not loading from desktop to VR

I'm able to play any other VR game I've tried on SteamVR with no problems. I'm using an Oculus Quest 2 through AirLink. Iron Rebellion, Wraith, Saints & Sinners, Iron Wolf, etc...all work fine. Phasmophobia loads on my PC (and I'm in the trailer where you choose a mission), but it does not load into VR. It just shows the flat-screen desktop on my Oculus and does not allow me to interact with it. Like it's just not transferring over from PC to VR. When I take off the headset and go to my PC I can get to the Options menus with mouse and keyboard, but VR is grayed out. Any suggestions?

I don't think the game is launched for VR if the options are grayed out. I'm not sure how airlink works either, are you running it through SteamVR or does airlink limit you to the oculus app?

I found a fix. I downloaded the app virtual desktop. Running it through there enables the game to work and the VR options button is no longer grayed out. For some reason it just wasn’t wanting to work through Airlink. Thanks for the assist.

If you want it to run through airlink, there's a few ways to get it working:
1)Connect a link cable then launch the game. You can unplug it after it starts.
2)launch it from within steamvr.
3)open steam and launch it from your library. Select the option to start it with vr.
