Seems like a couple good tips in this thread to make things run better in VR for this game. Can someone please tell me, if you have THE CLIMB for the valve index and it still works at 90fps? For the life of me, I can't get it to work anymore. It's like the FPS are cut in half, and I've tried so many different things. Pretty much all my other VR games work great - even PHAS works great compared to THE CLIMB. Thanks if you can help :)

Hope it helps someone and gets more vr players back in. So far, since I've been playing (a few months) I've only seen one other.

Set your vr frames to 2fps buffered in NVCP. Works wonders (along witht the other things I posted above). You might need to experiment with this one. Possibly change it to 3 or 4 buffered frames depending on your hardware.

Going to add setting the game to run in ultra low latency in NVCP to the list of fixes to improve the stuttering.

Turning off all the suggested settings, and changing launch options, and doing all the different "fixes", never fixed the game. For me, and ALL of my friends that play. VR is just bad rn. The vr rework tomorrow (7th) better fix the game..

It's bad but if your PC is good enough, it should be playable now following my suggestions.

Don't expect it to entirely do so, but do certainly expect a decent increase in performance especially if you're using a more modern headset like a recent Oculus or Index

All of my GPU, CPU and RAM aren't at maximum capacity yet my Oculus VR is dropping frames for whatever reason when running this, I am not sure what's up

YAY!!!!! Frame rate seems to be fixed now with the new VR overhaul patch. I've only played for a few mins, but right away everything seemed WAY better!

does anyone know why nobody can hear me in phasmo (with the newest update) but spirit box still works cause it can hear me? This has happened to me before but somehow fixed itself. Idk if people are just trolling me or this is an actual problem lol. anyway great update
