Don't trouble yourself about it. Some people are jerks who do not want to help players of lower levels help out. Maybe they are NO jerks but have had simply a bad day, and are not in a mood to help out newbies, although they might indeed help out to them, on most days...
Do not think too much on that. Just keep on enjoying the game. No matter what.
Best regards!
PS: Propably, you might want to search for people in the forums, right here. I did so, and found some people in that way. If you speak german, please feel welcomed to add me. If not, there are propably lots of other "newbies" eager to join you!
Some people were playing with someone who crashed/lost connection and are waiting for them to come back (when I've been in such a scenario, I watched the host kick people instantly until the person we were waiting for came on, so this could be a big one for the "instant kicks").
Some people have only 2 other friends, so they set up a public lobby and to fill in that 1 extra slot... but they only need 1 extra, so if their friend isn't there yet, they have to kick the extras until their friends have all joined.
Some people are only looking for people who speak a specific language. Or people who don't sound "too young" or "too old" on voice chat, etc.
The game's public lobbies are quite rudimentary. Don't take it personally if you get kicked from a lobby (barring someone yelling at you before the kick, obviously).
It's far, far, far more likely they are simply looking for someone specific.
I'm hoping that the lobby system gets overhauled/updated eventually...
yes, i speak german :) will add you
A low level number indicates you might not understand the game. And most experienced players don't want to babysit new players. Or, do you sound like an adult or do you sound like a kid? Most adults just don't want kids in their lobby.
I'd recommend hosting or using Phasmo's Discord to join people who are Looking For Groups.
