People cant hear me

my mic is detectred by the game, i even tried the test and it said we hear you.. and when i join a lobby and speak, no one seem to hear me... dont know why, how do i fix this?

There are two different voice systems, one is the voice recognition in Windows, the other is the voice chat (not sure what they use for it again).

If the game hears you, then voice recognition is working fine, and likely the physical headset is fine. However, this doesn't mean people are trolling you (necessarily), as the voice chat could still be broken for you.
There was a point a while ago when they changed their voice chat system and asked for folks to provide feedback if they ran into any problems where "voice recognition was working, but the voice chat was not", etc.

Not sure how to fix that kind of issue. Might have to test it with someone you know through other means (such as via discord) to find out if its really not working.
Then maybe send in a bug report to see if you can get assistance for it.

The game has 2 voice channels in game. You have the local voice, and the walky talky voice channel. Only people next to you can hear your local voice and everyone can hear you over the walky talky. With that said people dont talk during a hunt since the ghost can find you that way just as if you had your flashlight on. Hopefully this helps. People ignore me sometimes too its whatever

After the Halloween update, half of the lobby isn't able to hear me in game, while the other half does. Everything else works fine though. Haven't found out why.

Also you could test your mic in game and in windows to be sure you don't get trolled or if it's working or not xD

I don't know. Sometimes halfway through the hunt, the voice stops working for 1-2 people(so far as it has happened a few times) but not everyone can't hear me. Just a 1 or 2 people. I know its the game because when they join our Discord channel, they can hear me fine. I don't use push to talk. My Discord threshold works in every other game and they can hear me fine but sometimes, just this game, I lose voice. Just a bit into a Hunt. This might be unrelated to what this person is experiencing but I thought I should say it here because it seems that people attribute it to push to talk or something else besides the game itself. I'm open to suggestions but I do feel like something goes wrong here in the game. I'd like to figure this out. I'm open to suggestions and what not.
