Is there a way to make the game not so dark without it being blinding?

Have my brightness up to 2 and thing still seem pretty dark, but it put it on 5 its like i'm being flashbanged by light and still can't see in dark areas. Any way to make it where i can see?

You are kind of supposed to use your flashlight to see in the dark, not the brightness setting.

Not like you can use flashlights or cameras for hunting.

The game isnt supposed to have a burning sun in the house. Ghosts dont like light. Kinda makes perfect sense if you have seen anything about any kind of paranormal activity.


The show Supernatural is a good example for this. Dean and Sam dont turn up their brightness to see in the dark places they explore. They use lighters and flashlights every time.
