However, the speed boost now coupled with the fact most hiding spaces get nuked on professional provides a somewhat aggravating experience if the ghost begins a hunt in certain areas where you know you won't reach a hiding spot, or if you realize you have no way to break line of sight.
Personally, the speed of the ghosts is great, I want the ghosts to be harder, but when you mix that with making the environments something you have to contend with makes for an annoying experience rather than a challenging/fun one.
Maybe should be nerfed for amateur level at least.
But keep in mind that ghost speed may also be an indicator for the ghost you're dealing with, and some new ghost get faster the more electricity you're bringing in.
And that's a good change, since we're able influencing it for some ghosts.
And there is this layer of people who ask for "faster movement speed" simply because they cannot get used to it, and for other quite silly reasons, that have nothing do to with the gameplay itself.
It is just an ill seesaw where dev is trying to "follow community requests", but ending up breaking things for people who were okay with what there was, already, and thus silent.
That's too bad. This maps design is just going to kill you sometimes.
