Can ghosts detect candles while hunting if I'm hiding?

I don't remember reading anything about it tracking candles, at least I don't think I've been caught out due to cancles.

Also yeah ghosts can see flashlights, if it starts flickering then it will track you regardless of where you are.

Don't know about recently, but I've never had issues of being detected with either the candle or the glowstick. My friends and I do flashless runs sometimes so fairly certain of this.

candle is safe. neither local chat not keying the walkie talkie are safe.

there's a ghost that can hunt when candles go out, but i don't think they can sense or "smell" the candle like they do flashlights

Unless things changed for the update, the Candle, Lighter, and the Glowstick are perfectly safe items to have out during a hunt. It's only electrical items that can get you killed.

Thankfully (somehow), the head camera won't get you in trouble either (mostly because you don't have a way to take it off).
