Yes its my opinion and majority of people who played the game since they're also leaving the game, making this game player base decreasing day by day and thats a fact
Also im not even played phasmo for months, so your argument that im impatient and go play another game is invalid.
Phasmophobia
Honestly, the Dev just can't win at this point. How dare he fix the bugs and other issues first. It's almost as though he is trying to stabilise it to make his future easier.
Looping will hopefully cease to exist in the next couple of updates as it just made the game easy and easy is boring. Removing that silly option is the way to go and making all ghosts faster than players is a good way to do that. We'll see what that'll lead to.
After the core is established I bet we'll see more content.
Personally, I welcome this new patch for the ghosts.
I rather have a game with 3 maps and a stable core than a game with 10 maps and the ghost kills me the moment the game is started. Wouldn't you?
This is normal for any niche game, nothing to worry about since the playerbase is plenty strong for how big the lobbies are and the fact that it's COOP; currently averaging 11,227 players as of this post and when you can play with at max 4 players in a lobby this isn't really an issue.
11227 / 4 = 2806.75
If everyone were to play together, that's how many lobbies there would be, so nothing to worry about as of this time.
Let's say the game reached an all-time low of 1000 average players.
That's still 250 lobbies in theory, which personally is plenty for a COOP game.
Let's be honest here, your thread wouldn't have been deleted if it was truly constructive and this thread isn't constructive either, you're basically bashing the game, the developer and the whole community all in a single go.
It most likely consisted of angry rants and general bashing much like this one and then escalated into a flame war with fellow forum members whenever they poked at you for it, right? Which is understandable, I've posted some of those threads myself whenever I felt frustrated with a game and they also got rightfully removed. They should be removed since all they do is bloat the forum with negativity.
There's simply nothing to be gained here when everyone is at each other's throats and whenever a thread like this pops up the moderators knows where it's going to end up.
If you're feeling frustrated or angry you should get that relieved, it's healthy to get rid of negative thoughts and feelings but not when it's at the expense of others.
You know, if you don't want people to bash you, you shouldn't first claim them all to be toxic then go on and be toxic yourself. That'll never win you an argument or get your point across and people will never take your seriously. No one likes people acting like that, including yourself. You wouldn't acknowledge it either, no matter how much sense or logic was put into it.
That is not only true here, but also true everywhere you go in life, it's applicable to everything you do and that is because it's true.
Now as you said yourself, you wouldn't be here if you didn't like Phasmophobia, but you got to relax. Stay put like the rest of us and wait patiently. Play something else in the meantime, there's no point in playing if you feel bored, just wait a few patches.
The whole point of video games is to have fun, if you're not having fun you're doing it wrong.
Also, he's at least improving the game, rather than adding new maps.
The game didn't cost much and personally I've got a decent chunk of hours out of my investment and met some really cool people, but it's up to each person how they value their money spent.
I did give this game a good review because it scares me. I have phasmophobia for real which just makes this game extremely horrifying to me, which is why I play it.
Regardless of me learning the meta and speedrunning with my friends I still can't play it alone. So when it comes to horror, I feel that this game actually delivers what it promised me; an intense and spooky experience with bone chilling atmosphere.
I look forward to new content, but as you said yourself I rather have all bugs ironed out and solved before that day. Having issues that destroys the immersion is in my opinion much more important to get rid of.
Congratulations on your opinion, OP. I love this game. I play it all the time. I stream it all the time. I do not share your opinion. I don't care what other people think, either, and can show you (via Steam stats page) that people are not, in fact, fleeing the game in droves as you suggest they are.
But you're not interested in facts; you want what you want, and that's fine. Just don't hold your breath, because you are *drum roll* one person.
If you think it's easy. By all means, become a game developer and try releasing new stuff in a timely manner for the duration of your game's life.
The OP hasn't played with the latest beta updates, yet still complains that the game is "unchanged".
