ghost shutting doors behind me

is this a thing that happens to anyone else or like a bug or something? a friend and i were playing hide and seek in the grafton farmhouse 'cause we were waiting for our evidence to show up, we agreed to not move at all until the other person was found. so while i was seeking her i thought she came up behind me and shut the doors but she had no idea what i was talking about when i said something about it. this happened twice in two different rooms and they werent near the ghost room at all, the ghost was upstairs and i was downstairs. anyone else experience this?

So aside from the possibility of a bug, there are two likely causes. Most likely it is the ghost as it will close doors behind you, and they can roam away from their room... especially if the room it favors is on a different floor from the ghost room. And then the other likely scenario is your friend trolling you for some extra fun while waiting for the ghost to give some evidence.

The ghost will open and close doors when hunting. I've experienced many times it closing the doors when it walks into a room with door already opened.

Ghosts open and close doors everywhere even if its not the ghost room. Sometimes they are more active in another room to keep you out of the room theyre in. Ghosts also follow you in general so you will hear foot steps, hear doors move, etc long before you find the room.

The ghosts use telekinesis power to open and close the doors everywhere, it's not a hint or does not indicate where the ghost is.

I strongly disagree with this. Especially on bigger maps like Asylum, you can easily find the ghost room by looking out for (slightly) opened doors.
