Yes this happens. Ghosts can teleport select items from its location to a completely different room: Mannequins, bunnies, teddy bears, and toy balls are items the ghost can teleport. It's actually a method that can aid in determining a ghost room - since it teleports items FROM its location (not into). Example: If you find a ball in the kitchen and the only room in the house with a ball is the nursery, chances are good the nursery is the ghosts room.
