Will there be a free weekend Devs?

I have Phasmophobia on my wish-list for some time now but like most games I wait for a free weekend trial to test it first (I have no VR and for me the videos are looking great but more for a VR then just normal for PC).
Will there eventuelly be a free trial? That would be great! (like Dead by Daylight, they do this a lot and there are lots of buyers after free weekends ;)

Dunno about free weekends, but you could always "rent" it by buying it, playing it for less than 2 hours, and if you don't like it, refund it.

Honestly its worth it even without friends. I've hopped on the discord and joined some randoms and the community is normally friendly enough and full of people looking for a game.
