Does Ghost walks random or follow Path?

If the ghost is searching for the player, is he walking completely random through the map, or does he follow a preset path through the map?

Both I think. The ghost gets a predetermined navpath to a random room in the map and will travel to it; if it does not find a player by the time it reaches the room, it either wanders randomly or gets a new path to another room.

Don't forget, it also opens doors along the path and if it sees you in the room that it opened it will get you/

It basically just wanders randomly. Technically it picks a random spot, then walks to that spot, so it some times seems like a preset path as it might beeline across the entire house to check one room, but that spot it checks is random. I think if it takes too long for it to get to the room it switches to another random spot, which is why the ghost tends to stay in a certain area(the area it can reach within a reasonable time frame).
