Why is there no report button!!!!!
I sat here as my son (9) started to play the game for his second time. This guy (Gattsoo) runs up to him in the lobby and starts saying "Hi Kian! I'm gonna ♥♥♥ on your back!". I go to your fing website and theres no contact info. I'm about to explore further options since you offer no way to report this kind of extreme behavior! I'm ticked, its one thing for an idiot kid to drop f bombs, its a total other to sexualize a 9 year old!

This game is rated for 16+
I would definitely recommend for you to not have your son play games like this with voice chat either way as at that age as it's very dangerous in general.

Why are you giving horror games to your nine year old son to play? Your horrid parenting decisions are a much bigger concern than unattended teenagers running around ruining the experience for everyone else.

While I do agree that there should be a report button (for highly abusive or grievance causing players), I very much agree that this is horrible parenting. This is the same situation as a parent chucking a mental about phone sex advertisements coming on late night TV, when the kid is 7 and shouldn't even be up that late watching that kind of TV.

9 year olds shouldn't be in online games that aren't SPECIFICALLY designed for that age group.

yeah, i guess some people aren't built for parenting, considering he forgot to read the age rating and then lets his son play anyway and has the gull to complain....id say....he's a high school dropout at best

Yeah, horrible parenting by supervising my son on a low grade horror game. Horrible parenting catching the immediate moment someone comes up and screams they're going to ♥♥♥ on me. Guess what 16 is still a minor and that would still qualify under the same statutes as a 9 year old.

Flame away losers.

watch out, your lack of intelligence is showing

Okay, but 9 year olds are way too innocent compared to 16 year olds. 9 is a way younger age than 16 years old. I get 16 is considered being a minor too, but at least they know how to fend for themselves and yell back if they need to. I don't expect a 9 year old to do the same because they're to young and scared. Also age rating is age rating dude, I'd listen to it. They put it there for a reason. Have your son play a Mario game or something on the Nintendo Switch instead.

The eff did you expect from a multiplayer game?

Every multiplayer game is apriori 18+(or is it 21+?), because banning people is something you'll get only after the damage is done.
It is not physically possible to "rate" people joining a multiplayer game before they do something nasty.

Why didn't you just create a private server to play a solo game with your kid?

Kian, what was said to your son was disgusting and uncalled for to say the least. There's nothing that justifies or excuses that type of behavior. All memes and jokes aside, however, you as the parent put your son into a game with voice chat. A game with voice chat that is primarily played by those significantly older than your son.

As I said before, it doesn't justify the behavior of others. But the responsibility to protect your son still falls on you the parent. I'm a dad myself, and I've been on the internet since I was 5. I can wholeheartedly tell you I was exposed to things no child should ever see. BUT that still fell on my parents at that time for putting things in place to prevent it. And they didn't.

You can't take back what happened. So, instead use it as learning opportunity for yourself and a teaching opportunity for your son and move on. The general rule of the Internet is that if any amount of anonymity is obtained, depraved behavior is expected. Video game voice chat especially follows this rule. Heaven forbid you ever jump into a PUBG voice chat.

If you truly want your son to experience this game at the young age of 9, for whatever reason, I would highly suggest making a private server with friends/family you trust and simply stay out of the public servers. Hope your day gets better.

"Well yes but actually no"
Correct being that steam version is unrated. But the consensus is that if it were to be given a rating it would most likely be rated 16+

So, you're still going to complain after being told this is a game NOT meant for children as young as your son? You are completely reliable for letting your son play this game that has nudity, and other graphic content?
Look, we're part of the community and the game, we know what it's like and we're trying to warn you that this is not a game you should subject your son to.

Furthermore, I would like to agree with both Siege and Crowliphus that while yes, edgy humour being told to kids like that is wrong. But the main take away should be that adult orientated games are not places a child should be.
Even if you're watching him, it's still like taking him to a bar and watching him there. There's going to be adults doing adult things.
