Growling noise?

Ever since this last big update, I sometimes on occasion hear a low, growling noise while investigating. Has anyone else experienced this and knows if it means anything specific? Or is it just ambient noise that was added to make the atmosphere a bit more spooky?

Ghosts are doing growling when they spook or hunt. If you mean this.

I experience a lot of far off spooks lately. Spooks the ghost is not in visible range and you have to walkt into a room or aroudn a corner to see it standing there. Usually a good time to make a picture.
