Money by taking pictures?

Does anyone understand how money by taking pictures work and can maybe explain it? I'm seeing that on most maps, Ive only gotten 30$ for all my pictures including interactions, oujia board, ghost, dead bodies, Bone and fingerprints. Except on Tanglewood, for some reason I get 40$ for photos after completing the mission with just interactions, ghost picture, dead body, bone and fingerprints. Does taking multiple pictures mean anything (multiple fingerprints, footprints, interactions and ghost pictures) or am I just wasting pictures for no extra pocket change?

i could be wrong on this, so take this with a grain of salt.

but i thought that certain things you can take a picture of, have Less value.
like the ghost 3 star photo, would reward you more,
instead of making a photo of the voodoo dolls or the poopy water.

again, i could be wrong, but i recall having heard/seen this on some youtube vids and some posts a while ago.

I think you only get paid once per type (Interaction, Ghost etc) and the rating of the picture (1-3 stars) affects how much it's worth too

Also just to cover on interactions the D.O.T.S Projector shadow doesn't count as an interaction (even though you think it would given that when the Book is written into it counts as one)

Every photo type has a point value, And money at the end is a result of summed points.

Point Values for 1/2/3 star photos:
Bone 40,55,70; Once per round.

Ouija Board 30,45,60; Once per round.

Ghost 70,85,100; Once per round.

Dead Body 10,20,30; Once per dead body.

Dirty Water 15,25,35; Once per Dirty Water source.

Interactions 20,30,40; Once per valid interaction.

Footsteps 20,30,40; NOT the salt pile, But The UV footprints the ghost may make after stepping in salt.

Fingerprints 15,30,50; Once per unique door/lightswitch/window print.

No Points = $0
1-49 Points= $10
50-99 Points= $15
100-199 Points= $20
200-299 Points= $25
300-399 Points= $30
400-499 Points= $35
500+ Points= $40; Can't go above $40 earned.

Do you have any source on this? anyways, i appreciate this chart. It would definitely help if i could tell if the rest of my pictures were 1-3 starts after i fill the journal lol thank you

Only the first 10 pictures count, and the book displays those 10; Pictures after that don't give any points, but CAN complete objectives. EG: If you get 10 pictures first, you could still use the additional 5 to try and get a Dirty Water photo for that objective if it still exists, Or to capture a picture of the ghost for that objective. Particularly useful when multiple people need a picture of the ghost for the daily objective.

As for source, I don't know the origin of the information, but the mods and helpers in the discord are where I originally got that info, so, It's probably been confirmed by DKnighter somewhere or otherwise been datamined out of the game files.
