FPS Issues since Update

Love the new update, super creepy sometimes. But after a while the game becomes unplayable, and even crashed. Before the update I had a steady FPS, my laptop isnt a great but with lower screen resolution and all the graphics tuned down I could easily run it. Now I just start to lag more and more until it just breaks.

Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? Any specific settings I should look at?

Yeah, i have a potato pc right now and i was able to play the game before the update, now i still can but i have like 10 fps is just horrible, but well, my pc is a potato so...

I can confirm that this wasn't before the update and happends randomly also to my mates.

The workload of the graphicards are going up to 100% and over 91°C.

There are people with really high end struggling to play this now days. All you can do is turn night vision off the switch the camera in van for a little relief every now and then.

Glad (or not) that i'm not the only one. Hope the dev sees this and founds out what is the issue. He/she must be working their ass off now hehe

Yeah, i have fps problems too, but i'm playing in VR. Before the patch everything was grate, no lags, after the patch it's unplayble for me.

I'm back on an old i5, because the Rift S is incompatible with any USB controller that isn't on an old Z87 motherboard.

So this is disappointing news. It already ran like crap in the van.

Same it just dips randomly for no reason

had 144fps @1440p prior to the update, have 144fps consistently after... but VR has become unplayable, idk if it's the cameras or the paramic, but the update has introduced a stutter that ruins your chances in VR.
