The ghosts start moving during the hunt sooner(by 2seconds) and now they aren't visible until they actually start moving, which is why you probably died. You can literally sprint now. I was in the ghost room before when it suddenly started flashing and I zoomed out of there. (make sure your electronics are off....)
I didn't read that part of the patch notes...they can practically see you through walls just because you have electronics turned ON(on you) Turn them off before/as you hide.
I was with a friend earlier and we were trying to get a spirit box read. We asked for the age of the ghost and then the spirit box started freaking out, we heard moaning so we ran for the door as it slammed shut. We both turned off the equipment+lights and sat in a plant in the living room. Seemed to work! This was on professional =P.
Now we have a great choice if you forgot to turn off the flashlight: discover yourself with the help of light, or by clicking off the flashlight. What would you prefer? =))
Теперь у нас замечательный выбор, если вы забыли выключить фонарь: обнаружить себя с помощью света, либо щелчком выключения фонаря. Что вы предпочтете? =))
I think more of the issue is that the ghost seems to like spawning directly onto most players when it goes into hunting, and because of the shortened grace period with which to hide in, it doesn't really give a lot of folks the ability to escape. At least that was my experience with it when I played with my friends tonight.
Stuff DOES still flash, but yeah, it does end up being more about ghost proximity. There were a few instances where we weren't even sure it WAS hunting because some of us heard the static on the radio, and some of us didn't. Plus, it didn't matter what difficulty it was on.
Yeah, it's a few days later with more games done and I can see that this proximity thing is going to be an issue. It's startling and just another learning curve. We did complacent in professional with long warnings of the hunt, as someone mentioned in an earlier post.
We noticed tonight that the ghosts aren't responding as fast to anything really...
I do like the new salt, you can get more photos of foot prints. It didn't work properly before.
