Ghost orbs visible before the van even opens

We just had a street house level where the camera was looking down at the front door/sidewalk area. We could see the ghost orb coming out of the ground from the basement up through the ceiling before we even opened the door to the van or front door to the house. Turns out if its a ghost orb ghost it can sometimes spawn through the walls a bit depending on the location of the ghost's room (which in this case was the room in the basement right under the front entrance area.

I've tried to check to see if you can get thermometer readings before opening the front door to a house as that technically starts the timer/level and ghost activity. But sadly it looks like they thought about that. I confirmed this last round by doing the Grafton farm house with a friend. I went around the entire house waiting 2 seconds when checking the temperature of the walls/windows while being close to them. Went around the entire place and couldn't get anything.

The ghost in that level turned out to be right to the room immediately left of the door/entrance. Once the door opened, I could get proper readings through the wall/windows outside to that room to confirm the lower temperatures. Sound sensor/Parabolic microphone seems to be the same.

But looks like if you were really scared and wanted to play extra safe, you could set up cameras outside the windows to the front rooms if the level allows it to check for ghost orbs before the level even starts. Kind of a waste of time in my opinion but it doesn't hurt to have someone check while everyone's bringing equipment to the front door. Can sometimes knock one objective off the list right away before even stepping foot in the level. Possibly a great idea for high school as you usually get amazing camera coverage of the hallways and can sometimes see the ghost orbs through the doors/walls of the room its in. Note that not all ghosts have ghost orbs though as it has to be one that has the evidence requirement.

I can confirm this as well.I just did a investigation, and before I went in the house, I decided to check the porch camera. There was ghost orbs flying around. I then checked the rooms in the front of the house, and the ghost was upstairs right above the entrance and nearest to the camera. I then set up cameras inside the house and confirmed more ghost orbs. Turned out to be a noisy poltergeist, which was a lot of fun.

Glad to know that orbs show up before the door to the truck is opened though, as this would make the School and asylum easier to solo since you can camp the cameras for a while before entering.

I've had experience on ridge or whatever the largest house is not farm where we've seen ghost orbs outside the house
