How to place the camera
None of my buttons will let me place down the camera, is there a specific button?

F. Did you try that? If you're placing it on the floor you need to crouch to reach the area.

Like Captain said, F button on keyboard. You can also use left click on mouse to rotate the camera how you want it prior to placing it.
