How long is an in-game meter?
I know that the crucifix uses a 3 meter radius (5 meter radius against banshees), but is there anything in-game to determine how far 1 meter is?

I assume its close to real life, I do not believe there is a in game way to check. I just eye ball it myself. I try and have atleast 2 in a room to try and cover a wider area.

So far, I've been going by the assumption that 2 meters is the height of a doorframe.

those are some really small doors. that only gives me an inch of clearance. my real life doorframes, a standard size here in the states, give me about 6 inches of clearance.

in real life, 3 meters is much closer to the height of a basketball goal.

I wouldn't trust the crucifix very much. It's supposed to have 70% success rate, but when you rely on it, there is always a teammate who just dies. It seems to be more 50-50% at this point.
I recommend smudge sticks and multiple crosses on the floor, picking the crosses up and keep throwing them.

We had two crucifix on the ground, and the teammate still died, even though he stood on it. It also has 2 charges, and it disappeared on our match. We didn't even notice. But after 5-10 minutes, the ghost is super dangerous, and you should just leave. It's a failure at that point. It keeps going into hunting and the crosses are not a very effective protection.

crucifixes only prevent the ghost from hunting, once it starts a hunt, they are useless and dont do anything.

I suppose you could have someone walk and count their steps. 1 meter would be about 3 steps. You can't see your own feet in the game though, so need someone else. I never paid attention to people walking in game though, so I am not sure how large of steps people make. Theoretically you could try to measure it like that though.

A standard doorframe is 6'8". 2 meters is 6' 6.7". It's close enough. i don't think you know how long a meter is.
