How to use local chat in VR?

I have no idea how to use local chat ( in VR )

Can someone explain how? Is it like already on or, like what? I cant really touch my keyboard to do that cuz y'know.

Just talk. If you have your mic set to your VR-Headsets microphone you should just be able to talk. If you want to use radio you have to put your hand beside your head and press your trigger button

But when i ask if someone can hear me, nobody really responds...?

from my experience, proximity chat is always on

however, check windows settings to make sure your headset mic is working

If you perform the voice recognition test ("give us a sign") and it works, then other players can hear you. There is a bug in VR that when you finish a game and back to the lobby room, some players cant hear you. Just leave and enter the room again to fix it.

Oh, and make sure that you didnt press accidentally the mute button (binded on left pad).

People repeatedly reported that joining a second round may or may not break proximity chat for VR players.
