I would recommend you play that if this interests you but without a group of friends (5 people total max, 4 "survivors" and 1 monster) it's hard to do so as last times I checked there were no people playing publicly.
EDIT: Before anyone mentions "DbD", Damned has none of that RPG nonsense. Simple but pure survival experience.
Just don't ask to change the entire flow of the game into a PvP aspect ;)
Ghost's AI in this game is the corner stone, so I'm pretty sure the dev is yet to show how complex that singleplayer/coop experience could be.
I wish fans would make that gamemode instead. I think this game will have more value, when developed towards coop.
No randoms enjoy being the cat for very long.
Even though, AI is never perfect, it is often easy to close your eyes on some things, but when it is a player - it is more often ruining the immersion than helping it.
Cat and mouse type of games with real human players are never about immersion.

Dev has already stated the game will be staying 4 player vs 1 AI and there will be no pvp aspect.
