Would be nice to see the player able to interact with a non-evidence tool though, like perhaps instead of doing spirit box, dead players can interact with ouija (when there is one) and you would have some indication that it's a player responding rather than the ghost. First thing off the top of my head is making it so the dead has to actually interact with ouija and move the cursor themselves (since it's hard to type on VR) but while they do you can see a faded manifestation of their character model. Making it the slightly tedious ouija board would also mean it's hard for the dead to give useful info quickly, though they can still sometimes crack the case. Say they were alone in ghost room when a hunt started and the ghost went mach 5 for them, they could still pretty easily spell out "revenant".
