Ghost fog question
I've seen this a few times.
It's like the ghost is in a mist form and you can see it moving from one place to another.
The last time I saw it was on bleasdale. It was going from the entrance, up the stairs, and into the utilities room. I followed it the first time I saw it, and was right behind it.
So I decided to hang out on the stairs to wait and see it again. I did. It started downstairs and headed up the stairs, like it was walking, but this time once it collided with me, it made the "asssshhhhh" sound, and stopped moving.

Can anyone confirm that this is actually the ghost moving to where it's room is, or from it's room to another room for some reason?

Just want some info on this. I should have taken a video.

I think that is a ghost event that if you can get it to intercept you, it would complete the objective. I have had like 3 of them run into me in a row

I'm more interested in knowing if that is the actual ghost moving to where it's "room" is.

I don't think it is the ghost because I have seen it fly out of the house before. One time in the prison it went into the back yard and just kept flying off into the distance.

I don't see it often, but when I do it is usually somewhere within the ghosts wander area. I'm not sure if it's actually the ghost though. I've never like, had a ghost manifest from that mist or anything, but running into it does trigger the whisper event which can knock out the "witness a ghost event" objective. I can say that it does tend to mean the ghost is at least nearby though, but might not be the best indication of exactly where it is.

There's 3 forms for the ghost, full manifestation, shadow manifestation and mist form. Getting photos or triggering the witness a ghost event objective are inconsistent with the mist, but do work sometimes.

This one seems to be the best example of the ghost mist I've ever seen, although its on the camera in night vision. A lot of people have never seen one and so claim its just freezing breath, but when you see it, its far too big and moves with a purpose even with no players in the vicinity.

There are also smaller orbs of fog often seen on larger maps especially prison. They are about the size of your head and can often be seen outside of the prison near the truck. They are not the ghost, but just some effects that occur to add ambience. When those appear inside the prison they are virtually invisible, but make you think you saw something move out of the corner of your eye. But when they happen outside the prison against the night sky they're super obvious.

Is it the same thing if it semi-slowly moves across your screen in a shallow arc? I had this happen today in the prison and although it was smaller than the ones you were talking about, it was super visible and right in my face.
