Oculus Quest 2
Does the game support Oculus Quest 2 (via linking to a computer) or can the support be added relatively easily since the game supports Rift already? Recently got OcQuest 2 so wouldn't mind giving it a try if I get the linking cable. (Might get the cable if it's supported or when/if the support is added.)

yep I play with with my quest 2.
Are you using the official Oculus link cable or something similar btw? I heard the cable is pretty expensive but lighter and something than "normal" cables.

I played using virtual desktop. You need decent internet, but it costs $20 and a sidequest patch (stupid easy to do, youtube that shiz) but it's honestly the best way to play pcvr games IMO.

The game is not a native quest 2 game at the moment. To play PC VR games on the quest 2 you either need a link cable to connect the quest to the PC, or you can play it wirelessly if you buy the Virtual Desktop app on your quest 2, set your quest 2 up in developer mode, connect it to your pc, use sidequest to install a virtual desktop patch, and set up the virtual desktop streaming software on your pc. It sounds harder than it is, there are tons of guides online and yes, virtual desktop costs 20 bucks. It is cheaper than most link cables you can buy though and works like a charm if you have a decent wifi router.

Safest bet is the official Link cable. As long as you have a gaming pc, it's just plug and go. Of course almost any USB 2 or USB 3.0 cable will work, and will be cheaper, but you'll want to get one that's at least 12-14 ft, and any cable that isn't the link one will be thicker and won't charge it as quickly.

its a fiber optic cable designed to provide high data transmission over a long cable. there are cheaper alternatives that work just fine but not every USB-C cable will do. i can confirm it works just fine on the quest 2 with both the link cable and virtual desktop, if you have a 5ghz router/modem with little interference and near your play space virtual desktop is a very viable and much cheaper alternative.
