Phasmophobia

This game it's too easy, it needs more aggressive ghosts.
Once you learn to play moderately, the feeling of danger is only left with the occasional scare, returning to the game quite monotonous. This is even worse on larger maps. I think that with more aggressive ghosts or at least more present during the game, the gameplay would improve a lot. What do you think?

Perhaps a "true" wandering ghost could help a little with that (especially in bigger maps), if you had to gather the evidence near the ghost instead of in the "ghost room".

Yeah, that sounds better than the actual feacture!
Well, that would mean that the ghosts also start hunting very close to you, which makes the difficulty skyrocket. Probably should be for higher difficulties only or a toggle for having that/making it possible.

How many hours do you have in an early access game that doesn't even have the base content completed?

My idea would be to have the ghost room in professional change after every hunt. Mind you the ghost wouldn't pick up and move to the other side of the map, it would only be rooms that are near the previous location so after a long period it could actually end up on the other side of the map, especially if it's a demon and still be able to track it. Another thing I'd like to see is if an investigation starts going on for considerable time a banshee-like system would be introduced where the ghost would actually become fixated on one of the party members, maybe the one who has been saying their name a bit too much. I'd love to see someone trying to exit a room to get more stuff from the van and a mare is following them, flipping the light switches off and throwing things as they head to the exit. Last suggestion is to make the van itself not safe and if everyone is out in the van for a period of time then the ghost itself is able to head out of the building and cause mayhem.
true professional game so easy, need 5/10 min per game with full task, pictures, and more . we need more ghost on the same game, and certain ghost can change the position, and more agressive when he hunts, so rare i hide when he chase and he cant kill me wtf.

I think this game needs some new ghost AI and jumpscares

I don't know it that makes it more difficult. I imagine it to be more time consuming, but nothing else.

I agree on that. Let's see what the future brings.

100% agreed. I just told my friends about this & they also agreed to it. This game needs more challenge & as they named it as “phasmophobia” which means “fear of ghost”, they should put more jumpscares & ghost events to put more fear within players

I like most of the conversation/ideas here. Just to add, i agree something to be done to make large maps ghosts easier to find would be nice if possible. Ive had it a few times now, we are scouring the whole building cant find it, soon as we do 10-15mins later... it spawns as we arrive and hunts and kills someone lol. Either that or make Parabolic Microphones more useful and accurate, right now people just dont bother using them.

i kind of brought this up on a thread i started yesterday, but i beleive that the types of gear and the ammount that you have plays a part in how secure you feel. mainly because there is no point in having regular flashlights, when you can EASILY max out strong flashlights everytime and having a regular flashlight gives you a lesser sense of security because you cant see aswell. not to mention when you have a four man group everyone can grab a strong flashlight, and a peice of equipment to solve the ghost imediately so there is no insecure trek back to the truck to get more equipemnt. not to mention almost everytime, the ghost is greeting the players at the very first room or halway of the map no matter what difficulty. i want to have to trek across the map, and maybe up or down some stairs to get to the ghost room it gives the players a more sense of danger when they have to walk further to get out of the house. i absolutley hate walking into the house and then not even 30 seconds later the guy behind me is like "I FOUND THE ROOM!! First room on the left!!" half the fun of the game is going deeper and deeper into danger and having to get split up to cover more ground.

i think another thing is there needs to be more threatening interactions, not hunts per say but maybe do something with the keys that we find, so like the ghost might lock a random room and or person in a room and the team has to find the right key to get him out ect. or even just lock and lock rooms randomly during and not during a hunt including the exterior doors, to force players to change direction and look for an unlocked door ect. also the poltergeist... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ makt eh furniture dance, and slam droors open and closed, and litereally hurl multiple objects accross the room. i mean maybe for all ghost that can interact but a lil more so for the poltergeist just dont make it too obvious we dont look for other clues.

Personally, I just think there needs to be more side objectives. A bone and a 33% chance of a ouija board you probably won't even find isn't enough.

I only play this with friends. Makes the game more fun even though it does currently get very repetative.
