The only ghost that can be 100% confirmed with only 2 pieces of evidence is the poltergeist, if you get orbs and fingerprints (last evidence is spirit box), no other ghost has the ghost orb and fingerprints combo. Otherwise, you can get two pieces of evidence and narrow it down to 2-3 options and then make an educated guess on what you are missing based on behaviors or abilities. For example, sanity tanking quickly can often be an indicator of yurei if that is one of the options, a lack of footprints when salt is disturbed can indicate a wraith if that's an option, electronics and lights going haywire can indicate a jinn (though mare loves to shut lights off and poltergeist plays with everything, mare doesn't normally turn them back on and poltergeist will play with more than JUST electronics).
Great job digging up a 2 weeks old thread just to regurgitate what others already said and keep the discussion going. Enjoy the attention.
Edit: Oh you edit it ;)
