Are you condenming the dev for buying assets?
This game is still in its beta stages, so I don't really care if the game uses generic assets right now.
There are many placeholders. The game is in Early Access still, so there is nothing criminal about having certain things as literally placeholders.
Many AAA titles reuse same sound effects from SFX stores, but nobody really cares.
As for the models:
Let's prioritize the development of the game+mechanics, or, if anyone really can't live with having fancy custom skins: Unity's free, go design some haunting models and submit those instead of pretending like it's a crime to purchase skins from a store to use in your game...
I dont care where the aseets came from. Gameplay matters and despite being to scared to do more than 3 hunts so far i still feel i already got my money's worth. I can't give it any better praise.
