Do you mean hunting after 5 minutes or the hunts last 5 minutes? Hunts can last a long time on higher difficulties (5 min it probably an exageration but I've seen 1-2 minute long hunts).

Someone is hacking and controlling the ghost. Hunts on Professional last just under 60 seconds.

maybe a bug in the game? i got an eternal hunt once, but the ghost was not able to grab me.
