Flashlight flickering without hunt.

Hi everyone!

I am playing this game with VR, sometimes flashlight seems to flicker when hunt isn't starting, most often this happens on basements or so it feels. Is this supposed to happen or is it some mechanic which hints player about his sanity dropping?

it was mentioned in an update that if sanity gets too low you would constantly see flickering lights i've not tested that yet myself as haven't let mine drop low enough yet

That flickering itself is driving me insane.

check your sanity when it happens if it is low then yeah that'll be whats causing it. if isn't low maybe ran into a bug. can bring sanity pills along to top sanity up to stop it happening.

I can confirm that the lower the sanity is, the more you feel like you've seen light flickers.
Makes you on edge thinking a hunt is starting, but it was just hallucinations!

Based on information from fandom, it was caused by your sanity going too low (below 30%).
