Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

Makes sense, but what you think, should I focus on upgrading RAM or graphics?
SSD, then install games to the SSD. Keep the OS on the other drive.
SSD wont help with general performancce thou, SSD just speeds up loading times and popin stuff.

I dont think for unity games of these type thhats really a must, its not open world :P

Nobody will know the etxact performance you're gonna get because we all have different pc setups.

My 2 cents on the RAM: my cousin's PC had only 8 Gigs and he had a LOT of trouble loading into games and his Hard Drive was grinding away. He couldn't even join larger maps like high school and asylum. I upgraded his PC to 16 Gigs and he's doing much better.
I fail to see how he somehow gets a super smooth experience with 16 gig if he didnt do it with 8 GB. Either somethings faulty or there's lack of information on your cousin's setup...

8GB is more then enough.

Actually as it turns out, his PC runs on an integrated Intel HD Graphics processor that leverages the normal RAM instead of a dedicated VRAM, which had a lot to do with it.

I would honestly just try it out and see. Steam doesn’t count download time for refunds so as long as it doesn’t take two weeks to download you should be golden. Test it out and if it doesn’t run well, refund. Just make sure you stay under the two hour play time limit.

As a side note, I posted a trivia question in the forum and the prize for answering is a copy of the game. So far no one has answered...
Could you give me a link to that forum pls? Downloading games also costs me money, so that is why I do such in-depth research.

Then what makes it so highly optimized. Minimum of 8 GB ram and saying non vr *might* work with lower specs? GTA V is open world and requires a minimum of 4 GB ram. I just can't wrap my head around these things ffs.

GTA V still has much faster loading times only on SSD, it doesnt increase the overall performance, just loading times. You get literally the same framerate if you play it with a good SATA 7200 HDD Its also a game originally made before 2013?

Thhis is early access and these requirements also are not final. Unity itself is a ccpu heavy engine by it self.

Your CPU sterns from 2008. You probally wont get the same experience.

So basically your saying I should buy a more up-to-date pc?
My laptop does not live up to all the requirements, but I can still run the game smoothly with a quarter graphics settings and shadows on low.

Well essentially if you owulld upgrade the max upgrade for your socket would a intel core 2 quad q9500 but again, I dont think performancce wise it would be worth the price, if you manage to get it still.

Alternatively I woulld look for a I5 35xx+mobo if you need to stick to DDR but I do not know if your PSU will handle it all. I would skip and save up for a new setup wholly.

Yay, new pc it is. Wonder what bank I'm gonna rob this time. Maybe I could sell my Xbox 360 and poor that money into a new setup, but I still sway more to console gaming. (Although PC is slowly winning me over)

That will be enuogh for a playing with medium or low graphic options. Because my laptop (is not for games at all) has 4 gb RAM, 2.13 Hz intel (i don't remember the whole name), Nvidia 820M with 1gb VRAM and it gives 1-5 fps on large maps, despite that a menu room and a tutorial are playing smoothly with 40-50 fps.

I have tested this game on a PC with 8 GB of RAM with an Intel Pentium G3250 processor and the game just crashes when loading maps like Farmhouse,Highschool or asylum. Also crashes when the ghost starts activity in any map if you are playing with a friend.(This not make any sense because is you play alone the game never crashes and runs fine)
also the game just runs 40 - 30 FPS extremely fine)
I have a friend that runs this game with no crash in a Desktop with 6 GB RAM with a worst processor than mine and not having any graphic card with 20-30 FPS...so the game runs better than my pc for some reason. (Except in FPS)
I tried to research about this.and apparently the game has problems with some graphics cards.
