I think that this game needs the ability for accountability to be held. I had a user come into a lobby today and troll. I am a twitch streamer and the user harassed me and started calling me the N-word, I had never had this happen before and was not aware if I could mute the person in game. Ultimately, the troll won and I got my twitch account banned, and I did not engage with the troll at all. There is no way to my knowledge for this person to be accountable for his own actions as there is nothing in place for the developers to moderate the conduct of players. I feel this is a very important thing to add to this game.

This doesn't solve the problem, but couldn't you have left the lobby to avoid the bann?

Some frustrated sociopaths use games just to harass or offend some people for no reason, they are not there to have fun with other people, they are in the game to spoil other people's fun. Don't feel guilty about it, it's not personal, he doesn't even know you, as I said are frustrated people.
If you're going to do a streamer, do it with your friends and not with strangers inside the game. Online games are like the internet, there are good people and there are scum, approach the good people and ignore the scum.

I wouldn't say "some". There are a lot of people, who do that in a lot of games sadly.

Yes, even more so in games that they can interact with other people like Phasmophobia. But if you ignore these sociopaths they lose power, it's like turning off a house's circuit breaker when the ghost is a Jinn. :steamhappy:

Well, techinally it's not your problem. You can mute users by clicking ESC and changing their volume to 0.

Or they will harass you in the other way. Or move to the next target.

If you are the owner of the lobby you can always just kick them from the lobby. I have been kicked from multiple lobbies from not using my mic. So I am pretty sure you can kick them from the time they join your lobby.

The best way to ignore a sociopath is to expel him from the game or leave a game he is in, it is simple. The more people who do this the more strength he loses until sometime he will give up playing this game. I do not advise anyone to argue with people like that, as they are feeding the troll, it is an unwise loss of energy.

Do you know how trolling in GAME works? People are angels in lobby and demons in the game. And you can't do anything with them when it happens.

They probably started after the game started. I don't thing there is a way to kick someone while in a game, but some people would probably use that to troll as well. If you look at payday 2 where you do the entire heist and get kicked 2 meters from the escapezone. Fun times.

Sociopaths are not trollers by definition. Don't insult innocents.

You can't kick someone out during a game, but when you're in the lobby, yes.

I meant that if you pay attention to a sociopath, playing his game is like feeding a troll. I did not say that they are trolls, but some may be too, not being far from the truth.

I've had many moments that there are people who flip out & scream in to their mics because I am a new player, it made it difficult for me to level up while playing solo. People on my live streams seen a lot of this happen, It's always pretty much the same thing going on every time I try joining random public lobbies, or I get the times I am hosting my own lobby & 100+ to 200+ level players are freaking out & swearing at me from the top of their lungs telling me to leave my own lobby.

I changed my Steam username because I end up getting trolls that would pop up in my twitch streams & make false reports for pretty much no reason or they are just looking to cause trouble without proper reason & no evidence to boot.
