I'm talking about the video camera you're holding, not the head mounted camera.
Yeah but staying in the truck is boring. not to mention solo players.
Again, I'm not talking about head mounted cameras my guy.
It would probably be better to have some poor guy crouch walking through the house with a tripod cam he can drop in a doorframe for you to tell him to move on each time you don't get orbs.
edit: my guess is that by 3 rooms cleared in this way, a teammate armed with thermometer or EMF has already found the room
same in how on the photo camera you can see the image on the back of the camera
Actually it'd be cool thingy imo, but probably not to solo find ghost's room unless you have a teammate with a thermometer nearby as it can be non-orbs ghost and you just walk away.
Ah, that makes a bit more sense then. So the camera itself having the back screen display as you move? When it's in your control it's easier to manage for sure. The whole reason I can spot orbs in the light is because I play public a lot and a bunch of them completely ignore when I ask for lights off to check orbs. They'd rather mess around in the ghost room with the light on and wonder why the spirit box won't work and why it takes me forever to check orbs lol. For solo, it could definetly be helpful, but camera is usually a priority after the room is located since orbs is only an indicator of some ghosts so they may not happen at all. Temp and emf always happen, they just may not go to their extremes (EMF 5 and freezing respectively). It does seem easier but it's main function would basically be not having to reposition the camera every few minutes for a new angle, since you can just walk instead.
yeah therm is still the best by far for finding ghost room
Does anyone actually stay back in the van in group play anyway?
Its definitely not hard to find the ghost room since the thermometer makes it stupidly easy, just some variety would be nice ya know? also forcing the players to crawl back to the van to look at the monitor doesn't make for interesting gameplay.
