From what I learned earlier (from some of the streams where the developers joined content creators), the original "Dirty Water" evidence had a vial of water you can carry so you can take the dirty water and eventually purify it to make a sort of Holy Water.

However, in the context of how Phasmophobia works now I am very curious to see how it would be implemented or used again (a weakness to expose a ghost type, similarly to how Wraiths react to salt and how the Phantom reacts to the camera?). However, I think that the items we we have now are currently sufficient for what exists and I'm not quite certain how you would use it at the moment unless it was an optional objective like how we use salt, motion sensors, and smudge sticks. I would love to see it have some more substantial use than just that if it were to be implemented, personally.

yah thats a good point, all i can think of maybe smug sticks and holy water work on different things to make the game more complex, and could be used to figure out a detail about the ghost, but to simply add it i could only imagine its just stronger smug sticks

The holy water maybe could also just be a cheaper or more ?expensive? item depending of the effectiveness as a one use throwable, if say the ghost or w/e it is directly after you, face it..toss some anti-ghost acid in its face, and it backs off. Perhaps it becomes less effective the more you use, or just make it move slower for a small frame of time. These are all just spitball ideas. No need to just shut the idea down.

The game does not need more ways to be safe during a Hunt. You have 2 crosses with 2 uses each, for 4 stopped Hunts.
Plus 2 smudge sticks for 10 seconds where the Ghost stops Hunting.

The game just does not need yet more immunity to the ONE threat mechanic.

The cross would be the same thing imo more or less.
A good addition would ONLY be more maps,
because the usual updates for tool graphics or journal
are nice but not so much essential.
A good update was the new ghosts and the new ghost sounds,
but other than that,if the game doesnt stop glitching and bugging,
people will forget it very soon.

Well ofc I think at least we can all agree more maps, and ghosts is all anyone wants or needs. I only meant to support a idea, regardless of its necessity. ^_^)v

The dev's have an overhaul of the equipment system coming, which would include "grades" of equipment. I think the example was "Matchsticks -> Cheap Lighter -> Zippo", etc.

I could see a small ampoule of Holy Water being like the lower grade, with the current cross being a step up (single protection, vs 2x protection).
