Are there any ghosts that can shapeshift into other players?

Yeah i've seen this happen multiple times. Mares seem to do it quite often.

had the same experience. 1st i saw the charakter of a friend for a second before it disappeared, thought it was a glitch for he was at the very same spot upstairs. but later i was somewhat cocky and commanded it to "show itself" when it actually shapeshifted into my own character trying to go for the kill.
fortunately it was a phantom and disappeared after a photo ^^

I think in the journal it is stated that phantoms and yureis are capable of "controlling living beings" which, i think, refers to shapeshifting

Had a mare do it also in a farmhouse lol walked right up the stairs and took a picture of it but didn't count as a "ghost"

Saw this tonight. Was in farmhouse walking towards a teammate, saw another teammate walk by him.

I then turned around and our only two other teammates were walking behind me. Scary ♥♥♥♥.

I believe all ghost can do this. First time it happened to me i was in the basement, Lights went out, door slammed shut. and all i saw was the little shoulderlight coming towards me. Creepy af
