Any steps for this on Win 7?
Voice recognition doesn't work on Windows 7, the minimum requirements for this game is Windows 10 however I am going to look into a way of being able to use the Spirit Box without voice recognition however I can't give a date on when this will be out.
Appreciate it. I'm trying to stick with Win 7 for as long as I can, and I really like your game, so I hope this is something you can deliver on. I'm patient for a fix.
Hey, the "no microphone detected" is a bug which will get fixed in the next update. The voice recognition not working is a Windows 10 issue, I have posted what I know in the "voice recognition" pinned post, please make sure you follow it exactly. I will update it if more information is found.
Just throwing an idea here but what if there was a button that had a very basic preset of questions(think like the Z button in Counter Strike), that you could enable in the options or something, even as a temporary solution.
Personally I'm on Win10 but I know a lot of people still on 7.
In the next update people who have not set up their voice recognition or are on a system that doesn't support it, then all they need to do is talk to the Spirit Box and it will respond after a time.
This is a bug that is fixed in the beta build. There are a few bugs left and then I will push it to the default build.
