Wraiths making footstep sounds

Had wraith/mare/demon possible. I would have guessed wraith by behavior but we heard footsteps during hunt so I assumed that ruled it out. It also stepped in salt but I knew it could do that. Nope, they also make footstep sounds. Although if they didn't make any footstep sounds that would be too easy to guess. I would say take out the journal description that the wraith "floats" and keep that it can go through walls, but perhaps still have a random chance for ANY (or a few) ghost type(s) to be a floating ghost and make no footstep sounds. Instead they make some other creepy noises, because I think it would be cool and make it harder to tell where they're going.

I guess the reasoning is that it floats around but can still land and walk while hunting. But I do kind of like the idea of a ghost making no footstep noises.

So every ghost will always make footsteps during the hunt. Although I did have a problem today where I assumed it wasn't a Wraith because during one of those interactions with the ghost where it shows itself and started walking towards me, I heard footsteps.

Honestly I'd ignore the whole footstep thing with Wraith unless maybe you're using a parabolic microphone and don't hear anything (Maybe)? I think that's the only thing that it could possibly apply to.

Yeah it only says they're capable of flight not that they are always flying so I wouldn't rule out footsteps entirely.

You have to check if there are Footsteps after they step on salt with an UV Light, Preferably Glow sticks can help you camp them, easy to figure out if it's a wraith or not after that.

I double checked and it does say they "almost" never touch the ground. Though it's a bit weird if their feet are touching the ground but not leaving footprints. For gameplay reasons though, if only wraiths didn't make footstep sounds that would be far too easy.
