The book indicates they only hunt one target, but you never know which target they are hunting on each subsequent spawn unless your GITC is watching sanity to see the difference in drops.
Sometimes they're slow, others they're fast and they don't seem to have any rules for that. The other runners have very specific rules.
The Banshee is among the most vocal options and also seems to appear without entering hunt the most of the ones we've seen.
Aggression. It varies wildly per encounter and even moment to moment. None of our Banshee have been predictable in their aggression. At least Oni you know it gets hot over grouped up people. Demon, you know its always going to be on you like broth on soup. The Banshee? You cross your fingers and hope this isn't the time its going to spawn six times within thirty seconds of each other.
We've not had Shade, Mare, Poltergeist, Phantom or Spirit though... so Mare could still be the nightmare it claims.
My friend? Every time it's a Banshee, HE'S the one to get screwed. No matter who we play with
