How to use the Ouija Board?

So i found an Ouija Board and me and my friend tried to use it but nothing was really happening despite us asking the questions, etc.

Does anyone else have this issue?

It probably bugged then. Usually it'll instantly drain your sanity and make you prone to a hunt

Not all ghosts will answer the board too some just ignore it others answer on first try. A good question to ask is where are you. It will tell you the room it's in.

What I usually do is find the ghost area and bring the ouija board there. Then activate it and try talking to it. As RizuBesu said, it may or may not answer you on the first try depending on the ghost.

Maybe you're using the wrong chat to speak to it, try using B to speak to it. I made the mistake of using V for so long I got frustrated, Like Minny said, not all ghost respond to it. Try placing it where the most activity is to get a higher chance of it speaking to you. :) Also, you have to use certain phrases, "where are you, are you here, can you ___ , etc. Hope this helps!

You can always ask it "Where are you" it seems to always no matter what answer that question. Also make sure all your language settings are correct if you are speaking French with it turned to English it will most likely not answer.

This is backwards. B is radio and will not affect the ghost. V is for local and ghosts.

I have the same problem, played over 60 games and didnt get an single response out of it. I tried to re-install the game with my friends but the result was the same.
