Does the spirit box only work if you speak in english?

I'm looking forward to playing the game with friends but some of them can't speak english, is there support for other languages?

So far it only understands English. There is a list of questions the ghost will respond to in the "Guides" tab on here on Steam.

yes, work with other languages, i speak portugues on spirit box, and the Oni answer my question on english, but he understand my portugues.
