The most iconic ghost hunting tool is MIA

I hope that it's planned to be included. I know this game, as polished as it looks, is just in early access. Therefore, I hope that the EVP device... I.E. tape recorder that you tape your questions and give the ghost a chance to answer it. This is the most iconic ghost hunting tool and I could already see how to implement it into the game. I hope to see it soon.

Some thoughts though.

1. hacking laptop to set up in the server room for the bigger locations and hack into the security camera feeds for use would be awesome. I keep seeing those cameras in awesome locations, and I just know hacking into them from the security room would be an awesome way to video cover most of the facility in seconds.

2. Not every ghost should be out to kill you. Most ghosts aren't aggressive they are just stand offish and want you to leave. I'd love to see ghosts whose goal is just to scare the crap out of you to get you to leave. Such a ghost might even pretend it's another, more dangerous ghost, making it hard to tell them apart from each other until you examine the evidence closely.

3. Sanity is pointless in my book, but if you just HAVE to use it... then it would make sense that their also be items you could bring that symbolized protection and safety that could slow that sanity drain considerably. Maybe even stop it completely if the ghost is too weak.

EVP, so the spirit box but slower to record and replay?

Sanity controls how aggressive a ghost is, , light slows sanity drain and sanity pills can refill it if needed.

I agree with number two though it would be cool to have a ghost that isn't dangerous gives random evidence and you just have to figure out.

just having the tape recorder to accompany the spirit box would be great. think of it as physical evidence like the still camera but in audio form. capturing good replies from entities gives the team additional money
