How is this game without VR
As title says, I'd like to try this game out but I dont have any vr glasses. Would this game be still enjoyable?

it is so much better in VR. it's a bit catered towards it cause you can see all your items on your belt and hold two stuff. and the ghost is a lot more horrifying when you hear it pass your ears. you can hold two things cause you have hands and you aren't limited to a standing and crouch animation. So VR is a lot better, but desktop is still enjoyable and fun to play with friends. I have vr and my buds just use desktop but we've played so many hours of it

If you you guys were to recommend VR to me. Which Vr would be the best? I prefer VR glasses which I can play seated down..

LOL...wut? This has to be a troll, the game is 210% better in VR. I enjoy playing non VR when my batteries are charging, but VR mode is so much better

Probably much better without VR, My friend and I bought the game and refunded it within 20 mins.
We only really play in VR, and bought this after seeing so many good reviews.
Am sure these reviewers are not playing in VR.

The graphics were blurry, The Movement was so so slow, and boring.
The waist belt was hovering in front of me, not on my waist.
The first ghost never appeared after whatever i did.

Was totally boring walking so so slow from the kitchen and room, back to the van.

How to hell is this game getting so many good reviews ?

I play it in vr and i think it's great, it takes a bit of time to get a hang off but when you do it's terrifying and amazing at the same time. The only problem I have with this game in vr is that i get claustrophobic in dark areas.

You played the game 20 minutes. I think that says enough.

I have a vive pro and it works like a charm, the index is also good and maybe even better, but the controllers might be amazing but they arent supported in as many games as the vive. In the end it comes down to going to work on binding but having sick controllers or having them more compatible, and also comes down to taste

I can't speak to how it is with VR but it plays well without it. It's probably way creepier with VR.

It's amazingly immersive in VR, some updates broke some vr controls or collisions but the devs are working fast to fix all these issues. But desktop mode is also very much fun and is well optimised for it. Desktop mode can also hold 3 items, same as VR, but only one at a time (but you can press T to use the flashlight like any other game. so long as you have one) In some cases the game is easier in desktop right now due to some issues that have popped up.

All in all, the game is good even if you don't have VR. Just get yourself immersed!

(i play with 3 friends. 3 of us have vr and the one who does NOT have vr was the first to literally alt+f4 out of fear)

The game is obviously giving different opinions for vr users.
My vr experience, blurry graphics, slow movement, poor experience.
I only ever play vr games now, and this has been one of the worst.
Am not trying to put the game down, that’s why I keep checking the forums to see if the games been fixed for vr.
I don’t want to play it as the reviews are all good, but impossible the way it is in vr presently.

But saying there's ''blurry graphics'' simply isn't true. It depends on your headset, the supersampling and what graphics options you're using. Maybe it looks blurry to YOU, but all my friends and everyone I met in game with VR like the VR version just fine.

Yeah but the quest has a low resolution and quite some SDE, especially compared to the Valve index or even the Rift / S.
