EMF level 5

Just checking for comfirmation cuz we kinda figured it out in game: the In-van EMF level is different from the hand-held emf meter? It appears a 10 in the van is a 5 handheld.

Yeah, I think the devs are coming up with something for the van in the next update.
But the EMF level 5 evidence is the little tool, nothing to do with the screen in the van.

pretty sure the van EMF is to see when its active inside the house at any given time, thats all ive gathered from it

EMF in the van is separate from the EMF detector. The EMF in the van is used to show activity across the house. Ex when the EMF in the van hits 10 that is a good indication that the ghost is entering hunting mode and the people in the house should be prepared to hide. Having a level 5 EMF in the van is not the same as having a level 5 EMF on the detector and can not be used as evidence to determine the type of ghost. Using the EMF in the van is basically like determining the amount of activity in the house other examples would be noises, ghosts appearing, things being thrown, doors opening and closing, ect.

Yeah from what we could tell the van just kinda shows whether or not it's active. A 5 on the tool is a 10 in the van (a 2 on the tool is a 5 ish in the van)

Once again the EMF in the van is separate from the detector. The detector is for the immediate area. Using the EMF in the van to determine the EMF on the detector does not work and can not be used as evidence you may end up guessing the wrong ghost.

Ah got you I misunderstood my apologies! I did notice once it hits 10 on the emf in the van it is almost always a good indicator for hunting mode.

The EMF reader in the van is used to locate paranormal activity. If you place an EMF reader on the ground and the ghost is near, the van will pick this up, giving you a better shot at locating it
