I say 99% because I don't think anyone really knows what connects to the quest arbitrarily, unless they dug into the quest code to actually find the specifics.
It's the hardest quest to complete, just for how easily you can screw yourself out of it.
So i probably need to give up on this quest for this playthrough? That harsh
Some of those steps listed above ARE NOT PART OF THE BRIONAC SIDEQUEST. I proved (and still insist discovered) this back on the 360 version long ago.
3, 4, 5 and if I remember 6 are related to each other, but are a totally separate sidequest about Rita's views on blastia destruction.
2 is absolutely not required to get the Brionac, unless they've inexplicably changed it. It was long mistaken as a part of the sequence because it involves Rita naming a blastia as the first step of the Brionac sidequest does.
On the 360 version, there was only one missable part of the entire Brionac sequence, which was the first part in Rita's house. Everything after that is either not missable or not required. This might have changed in Definitive.
Is that so? Thanks.. maybe i'll try to finish the game till the end.. hope i never miss this quest

I'm seeing a few people on Definitive stressing that Aurnion can mess the quest up. I proved otherwise back on the 360* so I'll definitely be checking with several reloads once I get to that point in the game on Steam.
* The main reason people were caught out by Aurnion before was because when you entered it with too many sidequests available (and it easily starts with too many available), it didn't let you do them all. You could reroll which ones are available by leaving and re-entering, and obviously as you cleared some, others were more likely to appear until you had done them all. That's what I expect is happening with Definitive too.
This still happens in the Definitive Edition, too, yes. I had this happen, and it took me a few minutes to catch on as to what was going on. Only a few quests are active in Aurnion at a time.
Just a heads up for everyone, and this is IMPORTANT: For whatever reason they changed the Caer Brocam house location in this version. It's not the first house on the right anymore. I entered and exited that damn house countless of times, being 100% positive that I didn't miss any steps, and the cutscene just didn't trigger. Then, I decided to explore the entire place and discovered it's in ANOTHER house: A house in the feft side of the upper level, where you see the leader of Hunting Blades using Fatal Strike for the first time early in the game. So I hope this helps someone.
By the way people, i miss the second part (check the blastia in Ehmeed Hill) even so I could get it, so it´s safe not do that part.
nice ... working hard on it
